CJ ENM "Beware of Phishing: Impersonation of Our Production Team to Request Personal Information"
CJ ENM has issued a warning regarding phishing scams impersonating the company.
On the 15th, CJ ENM reported a sharp increase in reports of phishing scams impersonating the company and urged caution.
According to CJ ENM, these scams mainly impersonate production staff, survey operators, or NFT business managers via email or SNS, requesting personal information including bank account numbers or prompting access to specific website links.
Various types of phishing attempts have been identified, including fake program recruitment impersonating production staff, NFT trading inducements through fake events, survey requests baited with rewards, and payback offers for advance movie ticket purchases.
CJ ENM plans to strengthen monitoring to check for domain spoofing and phishing site creation, and enhance security systems to prevent customer information leaks. They are also exploring various measures, including collaborating with relevant government agencies to advance response systems.
