KT&G Dispatches 'Sangsang With Us' University Student Volunteer Teams to Indonesia and Vietnam
Joint Volunteer Activities with Local Indonesian University Students
1620 University Students Participated Since 2005
KT&G Welfare Foundation announced on the 15th that it will dispatch more than 80 university student overseas volunteer group members of 'Sangsang With Us' to Indonesia and Vietnam for volunteer activities until the 19th.
Sangsang With Us is a university student overseas volunteer group operated by KT&G Welfare Foundation since 2005. So far, a total of 1,620 members have been dispatched over 50 times, working to improve living environments in countries such as Cambodia and Myanmar.
This time, Sangsang With Us will carry out playground construction and mural volunteer work at Dongphu Elementary School located in Quang Nam Province, Vietnam, and improve educational environments through activities such as building a health room and rest area, as well as mural volunteer work at Ananda Elementary and Middle Schools in the Bogor area of Indonesia. They will also conduct joint volunteer activities with local university students. In addition, various programs such as Korean cultural and arts experiences and physical education will be planned to provide talent donation activities for local students.
