Development of Future-Oriented Educational Content, Field-Centered Workforce Training
Korea Science (CEO Changseok Lee) signed an industry-academia cooperation MOU on the 11th with Dongmyung University (President Hohwan Jeon) Department of Game Studies, which is the first among four-year universities to start nurturing game talents and successfully recruited a large number of freshmen this year, to develop future-oriented educational content and cultivate field-centered manpower.

Based on 10 years of accumulated experience, it operates after-school classes in over 600 schools nationwide. It actively communicates with after-school science instructors and continuously designs creative and new teaching aids by actively reflecting the demands of participating students and parents, leading the teaching aids industry.
CEO Changseok Lee said, “This agreement is part of our efforts to actively develop new teaching aids that meet the digital generation’s perspective, and it is an attempt to effectively utilize advanced technologies such as AI, 3D metaverse environments, and online game technologies as educational tools.”
He also expressed expectations, saying, “If we create a new educational content industry that can compete in the global market based on the technology accumulated by Dongmyung University’s Department of Game Studies and our company’s experience in the teaching aids market, it will become a desirable model where local industries and regional universities nurture talents who contribute to the region.”
Professor Youngmin Kang, head of the Department of Game Engineering and Department of Game Graphics at Dongmyung University’s Department of Game Studies, explained the significance, saying, “Through cooperation between a company with the capability to produce educational teaching aids and a university that can utilize advanced game technologies, we will create synergy to generate a new K-content market, which will also lead to the creation of new jobs for excellent local ICT talents.”
He added, “We will strengthen cooperation not only in industry-academia joint research and development but also in manpower training through internships. This will provide our students with a broader perspective to apply game technologies to various industries and serve as an opportunity for them to grow into problem-solving talents demanded in the field.”

Through this agreement, the two institutions agreed to expand mutual exchanges and cooperate in manpower training through joint research and development and field training.
