Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Produces 'My Life's Bling Bling' Documenting Seniors' Lives
On the 12th, Gwangsan-gu, Eoryong-dong in Gwangju Metropolitan City announced that it has produced a book capturing the lives and stories of senior citizens.
Together with the Residents' Autonomy Committee, they introduced the book "The Bling Bling of My Life" as a participatory budgeting project to record and preserve precious village stories.
The book contains photos and stories of about 40 local seniors' poignant yet happy times, along with caricatures brightly depicting their current appearances.

An official from Eoryong-dong stated, "Each page resonated with the stories told by the seniors, making us cry and laugh, feeling healed," and added, "We will continue various efforts this year to capture and record the village's appearance, lives, and stories."
