Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam is accelerating the dissemination and expansion of new agricultural technologies to increase farm income.
On the 12th, Sancheong-gun announced that it will promote the '2024 Agricultural Science and Technology Dissemination Pilot Project.'
This project was prepared to increase farm income, reduce labor and agricultural management costs by disseminating and expanding new technologies developed by the Rural Development Administration, Gyeongnam Agricultural Research and Extension Services, and others to local farmers.

View original imageAccordingly, Sancheong-gun plans to invest 7.2 billion KRW in 51 projects across 6 fields this year and select 995 sites.
The project targets are agricultural management entities, learning groups, small-scale farmers, and item-specific research associations with addresses and cultivation sites in Sancheong-gun.
However, to ensure efficiency and prevent duplicate support, those who are recipients of the same or similar government support projects or those who gave up projects last year are excluded.
Applications for the project can be submitted at the resident's eup/myeon office by the 22nd.
Sancheong-gun plans to finalize the selection of candidates who meet the criteria for each project and have a high ripple effect of the pilot project through on-site evaluations by the project department and deliberations by the Sancheong-gun Agricultural Industry-Academic Cooperation Council.

An official from the county stated, “The pilot projects promoted this year will focus on improving agricultural competitiveness and fostering regionally specialized crops. We will do our best to enhance agricultural competitiveness through the introduction of new technologies and the practice of scientific farming.”
