At Toronto Airport in Canada, an incident occurred where a passenger opened the emergency exit door immediately after boarding and fell onto the runway.
On the 10th (local time), Air Canada announced that on the 8th, a passenger on flight AC056, departing from Toronto to Dubai, opened the cabin door and fell onto the runway, and that the circumstances are under investigation.
According to Air Canada, the aircraft was still at the departure gate at the time. The passenger had completed boarding normally but did not go to their seat and instead opened the emergency exit door on the opposite side, falling onto the runway. Emergency responders and police at the scene transported the injured passenger to a nearby hospital.
