A Man in His 30s Arrested for Threatening Convenience Store Owner with a Weapon and Stealing 400,000 Won
Pretrial Detention Warrant Application Scheduled
A man in his 30s who threatened a convenience store owner with a weapon and stole cash was arrested by the police.
According to the Seocho Police Station in Seoul on the 11th, Mr. A is accused of special robbery for holding a stationery knife and stealing 400,000 won from a convenience store in Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu at around 6:45 p.m. the previous day.
The police urgently arrested Mr. A at a motel in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, and confiscated 330,000 won. It is known that Mr. A used part of the cash for motel fees and meals.
