Jeju Fire Department Holds Meeting with Firefighters' Union and Workplace Council
The Jeju Fire Safety Headquarters (Chief Kim Su-hwan), the Jeju Firefighters' Union, and the workplace councils of various institutions held a meeting at the Jeju Fire Headquarters on the 10th.
According to the Jeju Fire Safety Headquarters on the 11th, this meeting actively gathered opinions on policy proposals and improvements for organizational development and employees. Through communication and dialogue, the Fire Safety Headquarters, the Firefighters' Union, and the workplace council executives came together to discuss various matters to accept proposals and resolve issues.

In particular, this year, to allow employees to focus on firefighting activities, the meal environment will be innovatively improved. Through outsourced catering, balanced nutritious meals and nutritional guidance will be provided, creating a differentiated meal environment from before, which is expected to raise employees' expectations.
Chief Kim Su-hwan said, "I ask the union, workplace councils, and Jeju Fire to strengthen communication with the mindset of being partners and cooperate to achieve the organizational goal of protecting the safety of the residents." He added, "We will continue to discover ways to develop the organization through collaboration with the union and workplace councils, such as joint surveys on employee job satisfaction."
Meanwhile, the Firefighters' Union and workplace councils are making efforts in various ways to create an atmosphere where employees who diligently work for the organization can work happily and joyfully, propose various policies to improve work efficiency, and resolve difficulties that arise during work.
