In particular, four youth teams from the Seoul and Incheon areas, totaling about 200 players, have already reserved winter training camps at Muan Sports Park for February.
The county and the Muan County Sports Council visited the Muan Sports Park training grounds on the 8th to encourage the players to maintain optimal condition during the training period. In accordance with the Muan County Sports Facility Management and Operation Ordinance, the county provided a 100% discount on sports facility usage fees as a benefit.
Muan Sports Park is equipped with various sports infrastructures including the main stadium, auxiliary soccer field, adult baseball field, youth baseball field, indoor gymnasium, indoor swimming pool, golf practice range, archery range, and tennis courts, making it an ideal location for both recreational athletes and professional training camps.
Kang Migan, head of the Sports Industry Division, said, “We welcome the visit of the Hwasun Middle School baseball team to Muan County. Starting with Hwasun Middle School’s baseball team, we hope many teams will visit our county this year. We will host various competitions and discover unique incentives exclusive to our county to expand the attraction of training camps.”
Meanwhile, following the establishment of the Sports Industry Division through an organizational restructuring on the 1st, Muan County plans to contribute to revitalizing the local economy through continuous and active sports marketing.
