Boseong-gun Holds 'Visiting Dialogue with Residents'

County Governor Kim Cheol-woo's Unique Conversation with Residents Draws Attention

On the 8th, Kim Cheol-woo, the governor of Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do, participated in the '2024 Traveling Dialogue with Residents,' which is held at the eup and myeon levels, starting with Chaedongseon Music Hall in Beolgyo-eup and the Administrative Welfare Center in Joseong-myeon, to listen to various opinions from residents.

This dialogue with residents was revised and supplemented from the existing format to enable deep empathy and communication with residents by receiving requests from eup and myeon in advance, resolving difficulties in proceeding due to personal hardship requests, and allowing proposals for projects that benefit the entire village or eup and myeon.

In particular, through a video in which Governor Kim Cheol-woo personally explained the vision for the 8th elected term, residents could vividly understand major achievements, departmental issues for 2024, and the direction of county administration at a glance. Governor Kim led the conversation, creating a natural and amicable atmosphere.

Kim Cheol-woo, governor of Boseong-gun, said, “I will listen closely to each and every valuable opinion of the residents and reflect various opinions so that all residents can feel the results,” adding, “In 2024, I will write a wonderful history together with the residents.”

Meanwhile, to hear the vivid voices of residents on site, Boseong-gun will hold dialogues with residents while touring 12 eup and myeon in the following order: Beolgyo-eup and Joseong-myeon on the 8th; Deukryang-myeon and Hoecheon-myeon on the 9th; Boknae-myeon and Mundeok-myeon on the 10th; Gyeombaek-myeon and Ui-eo-myeon on the 11th; Miryeok-myeon and Nodong-myeon on the 12th; and Ungchi-myeon and Boseong-eup on the 15th.
