On Sale from the 12th "All Proceeds Donated to Children in Need"
SPC Baskin-Robbins announced on the 9th that it will publish a brand book titled "Scoop of Happiness," which captures 39 years of its journey.
The Baskin-Robbins brand book, created as a 262-page single volume, is divided into three main parts. These include the brand history part introducing Baskin-Robbins' brand values and history, the creative project part containing happiness recipes introduced by experts and celebrities who love Baskin-Robbins, and the interview part featuring employees who make Baskin-Robbins.
First, the brand history part contains a story of relentless challenges as Baskin-Robbins grew into a differentiated premium ice cream brand. It also includes content that converts the 39-year journey into numbers. For example, the annual sales volume of the representative popular flavor "Mint Chocolate Chip," when converted into single regular size cups and stacked, reaches 1,950 meters, which is 635 times the height of Hallasan and 140 times the height of Everest. In addition, stories that Baskin-Robbins consumers might have wondered about, such as the number of flavors released over the years and the best-selling ice cream in Korea, are introduced.
In the creative project part, which reinterprets Baskin-Robbins ice cream in various ways, a total of 40 participants including famous chefs such as Chef Lim Jeong-sik of Jungsik, Han Myung-soo CCO of Baedal Minjok, former golf player and coach Park Se-ri, as well as patissiers, celebrities, and photographers, presented happiness recipes reflecting their individuality. They introduced 100 happiness recipes covering art fields such as food, photography, painting, and music based on their favorite flavors, allowing people to experience Baskin-Robbins with all five senses.
Lastly, the employee interview part includes product development managers from various fields such as ice cream, cakes, and coffee beverages, sharing previously untold stories of product creation and tips recommended by developers for enjoying Baskin-Robbins ice cream.
Meanwhile, the brand book will be produced in limited quantities and sold from the 12th at Yes24 online bookstore, major metropolitan area branches such as Kyobo Bookstore Gwanghwamun and Gangnam, and 18 Baskin-Robbins directly operated stores for 31,000 KRW. All proceeds from sales will be donated as part of Baskin-Robbins' social contribution activities, including helping children in need.
