Ulsan Culture and Arts Center "Recruiting This Year's Artists"
Five Artists Participating in 'Solo Exhibition' in Painting, Photography, and Calligraphy Flat Art Fields
Ulsan Culture and Arts Center (Director Ma Dong-cheol) is recruiting five local artists to lead this year's solo exhibitions.
The 'Artist of the Year Solo Exhibition' is designed to support and nurture the creative activities of local artists and to revitalize the Ulsan art scene. The works of selected artists through the open call will be exhibited in a relay format.
Eligibility requires artists to be at least 19 years old and have either resided in Ulsan for more than one year or have more than one year of exhibition experience as of the announcement date. The recruitment fields are limited to flat art forms such as fine arts, photography, and calligraphy.
The exhibitions will be held year-round in the permanent exhibition hall, and considering the spatial characteristics of the exhibition space, only flat works, not three-dimensional or installation types, will be accepted.
Selected artists will receive creative support funds and promotional materials within the budget, and starting with a joint exhibition in February, each artist will hold a solo exhibition for 60 days once a year until December.
Those wishing to participate should prepare application forms, performance portfolios, PowerPoint presentations, and other documents, and apply by visiting the Culture and Arts Center or sending them by mail to the Arts Project Department of the Culture and Arts Center between the 9th and 15th.
