40-Year-Old Arrested with Soju Bottle After Inhaling Hallucinogens, Detention Warrant Issued
The Geumcheon Police Station in Seoul announced on the 6th that they have applied for an arrest warrant for a man in his 40s, Mr. A, who threatened pedestrians with a soju bottle after inhaling a hallucinogenic substance.
According to the police, Mr. A is suspected of inhaling a spray containing toluene, a hallucinogenic substance, in violation of the Chemical Substances Control Act.
Under the influence of the hallucinogen, Mr. A was arrested on the spot by police at around 4:40 p.m. the previous day on a street in Doksan-dong, Geumcheon-gu, Seoul, after causing a disturbance with a soju bottle against pedestrians and vehicle drivers. No one was injured.
