Supporting SMEs' 'ESG Management'... Korea Federation of SMEs Publishes Best Practices Guidebook
Includes Analysis of Key ESG Issues by Industry Sector
The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business (Kbiz) announced on the 7th that it has published a collection of best practices in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management titled "The ESG Era, Small and Medium Enterprises Respond."
According to a survey by Kbiz, 87% of the top 30 large corporations in Korea are already conducting ESG evaluations of their partner companies. With the expansion of global ESG-related regulations, demands for ESG evaluations of small and medium enterprises from business partners are also increasing.
This collection of case studies is designed to assist SMEs in practicing ESG management with practical references from the field. It includes analyses of key ESG issues by SME industry, best practices in ESG management, and exemplary cases of implementation by specific indicators. An ESG diagnostic checklist for SMEs is also provided to enable direct assessment of their ESG level.
