Semiconductor Deposition Process Manufacturing Technology and Workforce Acquisition
Hanwha Precision Machinery, a manufacturing solutions company under Hanwha, has acquired the semiconductor front-end process business from Hanwha Momentum Co., Ltd.

On the 5th, Hanwha Precision Machinery announced that it had acquired the equipment manufacturing technology and personnel necessary for the semiconductor deposition process from Hanwha Momentum as of January this year. The deposition process is one of the eight major semiconductor manufacturing processes and involves coating thin layers of material onto semiconductor wafers.

Hanwha Precision Machinery explained that through this acquisition, it has transformed into a semiconductor equipment manufacturing solutions company covering both front-end and back-end semiconductor processes. Lee Sung-soo, CEO of Hanwha Precision Machinery, stated, "We will actively utilize the equipment market know-how and technology accumulated over a long time to continuously expand our business in the semiconductor market."
