Damyang-gun Public Officials Policy Research Group Research Project Award Ceremony Held
Selected as 'Excellent' for Proposing Existing Space Revitalization Measures to Address Local Extinction Crisis
Jeonnam Damyang-gun (Governor Lee Byeong-no) announced on the 4th that it awarded outstanding research projects from the civil servant policy research group operated to discover innovative policies through voluntary participation and research by employees.
This year, six teams were formed mainly of public officials with less than 10 years of service, allowing young public officials to freely propose creative policy ideas without being bound by existing frameworks, and they actively conducted policy research activities together with mentors.
The county prioritized feasibility and creativity as the main criteria, reviewed the first round of departmental opinions, and after the second round of thesis (report) evaluation, selected two teams' research projects as outstanding.
The outstanding team, ‘Ilpamanpa’ team, selected three existing spaces through their own survey and proposed ‘Activation Plans for Existing Spaces to Respond to the Risk of Local Extinction.’ The encouragement team, ‘Damyang Rookie’ team, proposed a workation policy to increase the living population.
In addition, discussions were held on various fields such as ▲ Damyang vegan (vegetarian) tourism to lead tourism content ▲ Organizational culture improvement plans for harmony between our work and life.
