View original imageThe ‘2023 National University-Linked Project’ organized by the Child Rights Protection Agency is a program where university students (teams) select major projects of the agency within their major curriculum and derive activation plans or promotional strategies and analysis results for child welfare projects.
On the 22nd, students from the Department of Social Welfare at Silla University who participated in the ‘2023 National University-Linked Project’ presented activation and promotional plans under the theme of ‘Support for Youth Preparing for Independence (Didim Seed Bank),’ receiving high evaluations and winning the Excellence Award.
Kim Seong-eun, a student who received the Excellence Award, said, “I realized that one of the difficulties faced by youth preparing for independence is the challenge of securing initial costs for independence, and as a solution, I proposed the Didim Seed Bank project,” adding, “I hope the Didim Seed Bank project will be further activated and promoted to provide even a little help to vulnerable children preparing for independence.”

Professor Jeong Su-jeong of the Department of Social Welfare at Silla University said, “As 13 teams from the Department of Social Welfare prepared this project with 8 different themes, I believe it was an opportunity for students to learn and experience a lot firsthand,” and added, “I am proud that the team consisting of students Kim Seong-eun, Gu Eun-gyeong, Kim Beom-jin, Park Ye-jin, Yoon Tae-hyeon, and Cheon Geon-ho achieved such good results, and I will continue to guide students to develop their expertise in social welfare.”
