One day after the stabbing incident involving Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, the Busan District Court issued a search warrant for the suspect on the 3rd.
The search targets include the suspect Kim (67)'s real estate office and residence, but it is currently unclear whether an office presumed to be affiliated with a political party is included.
Kim, who attacked Lee Jae-myung with a weapon, completed police questioning and was detained in the Busan Yeonje Police Station detention center in the early hours of the 3rd.
The Busan Police Agency completed a second investigation of Kim, who assaulted the leader, and detained him at the Yeonje Police Station detention center around midnight on the same day. The police are expected to apply for an arrest warrant on charges of attempted murder as early as that day.

Earlier, during the first investigation at the Busan Gangseo Police Station, Kim stated, "I intended to kill the leader." However, he did not disclose specific details about the crime plan or any conspiracy.
