Gyeongwon Gimhae-si New Deputy Mayor: "Will Thoroughly Manage the Three Major Large-Scale Events in Gimhae in 2024"
Former 1st Deputy Mayor of Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, An Kyung-won, has been appointed as the Deputy Mayor of Gimhae City.
According to Gimhae City on the 2nd, the new Deputy Mayor An is a native of Gimhae, graduated from Gimhae High School and Dong-A University with a degree in Public Administration, and entered public service by passing the 1998 Administrative Examination.
Since then, he has served as Director of Culture and Sports in Changwon City, Director of International Education Cooperation Division and Director of Social Integration Support Division at the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, Director of Records Policy Department at the National Archives, Acting Director of the National Archives, and 1st Deputy Mayor of Changwon City.
The new Deputy Mayor of Gyeongnam Gimhae-si is delivering an inaugural speech at the optical shop.

Appointed on the 1st of this month, Deputy Mayor An expressed his feelings, saying, "I am very happy to be able to work as Deputy Mayor in my hometown."

He added, "This year, I will meticulously manage everything from the most basic safety to external cooperation to successfully carry out the three major mega events held in Gimhae: the National Sports Festival, the National Para Games, the East Asian Cultural City events, and the Year of Visit to Gimhae events, contributing to making this year a turning point in the urban history of Gimhae City."
