Uljin-gun Increases New Year Support Funds for Elderly Bathing and Hairdressing Expenses
Increase from 7,000 KRW to 10,000 KRW per month
Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, is increasing the support funds for bathing and beauty expenses to expand welfare benefits, recognizing the growing importance of health and hygiene management for the elderly in the new year of Gapjin 2024.
Support for elderly bathing and beauty expenses is a pledge of the 8th local government administration. Since last year, 7,000 KRW per person per month has been provided to seniors aged 70 and over, but starting this year, the support amount will be increased to 10,000 KRW per month.
Currently, the elderly bathing and beauty voucher cards can be used at 105 registered affiliated stores within the county. The support funds are automatically loaded onto the card quarterly and can be used until the end of the current year, maintaining the existing system.
