Financial Supervisory Service Receives 'Excellent' Rating for Two Consecutive Years in 2023 Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission Integrity Evaluation
On the 28th, the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) announced that it achieved an excellent grade of Level 2 in the 2023 Comprehensive Integrity Evaluation of Public Institutions released by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission. This marks the second consecutive year that the FSS has attained Level 2.
The Commission's comprehensive integrity evaluation is conducted by assessing integrity perception at 60%, integrity efforts at 40%, and then deducting points for corruption incidents, resulting in a rating from Level 1 to Level 5.
So far, the FSS has strived to become a trusted institution by the public through fair, transparent, and proactive work processes. It established the work innovation roadmap (the F.A.S.T) to enhance the speed and transparency of tasks such as licensing and inspections, and simultaneously made efforts to raise integrity awareness among all employees by holding anti-corruption and integrity workshops and policy meetings chaired by the Governor.
As a result, the FSS recorded its highest-ever Level 2 in integrity perception, which evaluates internal and external recognition of its work processes (compared to Level 3 last year), and received a favorable Level 3 rating in integrity efforts, which assesses improvements in corruption-prone areas and the interest and efforts of the institution’s head, continuing the positive evaluation from the previous year.
