Ministry of SMEs and Startups Public Officials Union Announces Survey Results on 'Executives People Want to Work With'
Park Yong-sun, Head of Startup Policy, Receives Highest Votes
The Public Officials Labor Union of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (Chairman No Chi-hong) announced the results of the '2023 Most Desired Executives to Work With' survey on the 28th. The 'Most Desired Executives to Work With' survey has been conducted since 2018 to select and award executives who set an example for employees, thereby boosting employee pride. This year's survey involved employees below grade 4 (excluding manager level) of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups last month.
The Public Officials Labor Union of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups selected a total of eight executives as the 'Most Desired Executives to Work With': one headquarters division director, three managers, one head of affiliated agency, and three managers, and presented commemorative plaques at the 2023 year-end ceremony.
This year’s most desired executives to work with include Park Yong-soon, Startup Policy Officer, in the headquarters division director category; Kwon Soon-jae, Manufacturing Innovation Manager, Lee Jun-hee, Technology Startup Manager, and Hwang Young-ho, Planning Innovation Officer, in the manager category. In the affiliated agency head category, Lee Sang-chang, Gyeonggi Regional Office Chief, and in the manager category, Seo Jeong-eon, Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Policy Manager, Lee Beom-seon, Seoul Office Small Business Manager, and Cha Ja-ho, Gyeonggi Office Small Business Manager were selected.
Employees of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups cited communication skills, respect for employees, and other personal qualities, as well as specific and rational work instructions and clear feedback as the virtues of executives they want to work with.

Park Yong-soon, the Startup Policy Officer who received the most votes in this survey, said, "I will continue to maintain a listening attitude with the awareness that I am a colleague working together rather than a superior when working," adding, "I would like to gain experience in other fields besides startups and ventures within the Ministry of SMEs and Startups in the future."
