Changwon Facilities Corporation, New Year 'Year of Safe Practice' ... Comprehensive Measures to Strengthen Safety Management Established
Strengthening Pool Accident Emergency Response Capabilities and Improving Water Quality Environment
Changwon Facilities Corporation in Gyeongnam will implement a strengthened comprehensive safety management plan from the new year to prevent disasters and various safety accidents.
This enhanced safety management plan is a measure to establish a preventive safety system against disasters, accidents, and safety incidents, enabling citizens to use the facilities more safely.
Accordingly, the corporation has set the 2024 New Year goal as the "First Year of Accident-Free Practice" and plans to promote safety management reinforcement measures in various fields such as facilities and environment, education, and health.
First, safety education for employees will be strengthened at each facility, and facility improvements considering the characteristics of users will be promoted.
Customer-participatory safety education, such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training for emergency situations, will be expanded, and cross-inspections by citizen monitoring groups on various facilities will be reinforced.
For large-scale gatherings, a standard manual for preventing safety accidents will be established, and thorough on-site inspections will be conducted.
In particular, to ensure rapid crisis response, safety bells will be installed in swimming pools, and portable radios will be distributed to safety personnel so that the swimming pool and office can respond immediately in a one-stop manner.
Additionally, simulated safety accident drills will be conducted at each swimming pool to raise awareness of customer safety, and a user evaluation system for safety workers will be established to ensure no negligence in management duties.
Furthermore, on the 13th, the corporation launched the "Swimming Pool Water Quality Management Council," composed of external water quality experts, representatives of civic groups, related organizations, and public officials, to improve swimming pool water quality management and began full-scale operations.
Meanwhile, on January 2nd of the coming new year, the corporation will hold a "Safety Prayer Ceremony" wishing for accident-free and disaster-free operations, pledging to implement differentiated customer service based on safety.
Prior to this, at the year-end ceremony on the 28th, all employees will participate in a "Safety Prayer Wish Hanging" event to re-recognize and practice the importance of safety and to raise safety awareness.
