Lee Se-hoon, Former Financial Services Commission Secretary-General, Appointed as Senior Deputy Governor of Financial Supervisory Service
On the 26th, the Financial Services Commission appointed Lee Se-hoon, former Secretary General of the Financial Services Commission, as the Senior Deputy Governor of the Financial Supervisory Service at the 3rd extraordinary meeting, following the recommendation of the Governor of the Financial Supervisory Service. Lee's term as Senior Deputy Governor is three years, from this day until December 25, 2026. Born in 1970, Lee graduated from Yeongdong High School and Seoul National University with a degree in law, and earned a Master of Laws from Indiana University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Connecticut. He passed the 36th Administrative Examination and has held positions including Head of Industrial Finance Division, Head of Financial Policy Division, Director of Structural Improvement Policy, and Director General of Financial Policy at the Financial Services Commission.
