Busan City will hold the ‘15-Minute City Vision Tour Season 2: Sasang-gu Edition’ at 2 PM on the 26th in the Sasang District Office Community Hall.
The event will be attended by about 350 people, including Mayor Park Hyung-jun, National Assembly member Jang Je-won, Sasang District Mayor Jo Byung-gil, SP&G CEO Lee Jeong-rim, and the Sympathy Policy Group. The program will proceed in the order of PT presentation, policy briefing, discussion and Q&A, performance, and commemorative photo session.
The 15-minute city is a journey created together with citizens. Unlike past visits to autonomous districts and counties that were mainly meetings with residents, the city planned the ‘15-Minute City Vision Tour’ in stages with the intention of communicating policies based on policy agendas.
While Season 1 conducted last year aimed to share the vision of the 15-minute city, Season 2, promoted this year, aims to activate citizen participation throughout the entire policy cycle, including policy planning, decision-making, execution, and evaluation.
Vision Tour Season 2 started sequentially with Sahagu in March and is being promoted for 16 autonomous districts and counties. This event is the seventh in the series and will be held in Sasang-gu.
At the event, local residents will directly propose the ‘Hagangseondae Historical Park Development’ project, and participants will engage in discussions and preference surveys on the topic.
The ‘Hagangseondae Historical Park Development Project’ is a project investing a total of 10 billion KRW by 2025 to create resident convenience facilities and school routes in the Hagangseondae area near Sasang Elementary School. Facilities such as walking trails, nighttime landscape lighting, educational and play spaces will be created to serve as a space for community recovery and revitalization. Additionally, the relatively narrow sidewalks, currently 1.5 meters wide, will be expanded to 2 meters, and the school route leading to Sasang Elementary School will be further expanded to 4 meters wide, along with other pedestrian environment improvement works.
