Kibo Completes Development of 'Technology Evaluation Open Platform'... Opens to the Private Sector
Utilizing 25 Years of Technology Evaluation Expertise
Supporting Innovation in Small and Medium Enterprises
The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Chairman Kim Jong-ho) announced on the 26th that it has completed the development of the 'Technology Evaluation Open Platform.' Based on 25 years of accumulated technology evaluation data and know-how, Kibo has selected and built a technology innovation infrastructure and created a technology evaluation open platform that anyone can use. To support the innovative growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), it will first open a self-diagnostic form of technology evaluation for free, and plans to provide more in-depth information through agreements with innovation institutions.
Through the platform, Kibo plans to offer a total of three systems: ▲ the Rapid Standard Model (KTRS-FM), which allows startups within three years to quickly conduct evaluations for financial support through self-diagnosis ▲ Tech-Index, which predicts the technological innovation capabilities and future growth potential of SMEs ▲ and the Originality Judgment Model, which uses patent big data and artificial intelligence (AI) to determine core technologies based only on a technology overview.
The newly opened platform allows general corporate customers to check the possibility of rapid technology finance support through self-diagnosis. Financial institutions and innovation organizations are expected to utilize it in various ways, such as discovering companies, selecting research projects for support, and conducting policy research for government and public research institutes.
