Featuring 90 Minutes of Diverse Performances with Son Taejin, The Bliss Korea, Massacrew, and More
Seocho-gu, Seoul (Mayor Jeon Seong-su) held 'Christmas in Seocho' at the Seocho Culture and Arts Center in Yangjae-dong on the 22nd.
This festival was the finale of the seasonal themed cultural and arts festivals held throughout the year by Seocho-gu, presenting a winter night romance with a carol medley to about 600 spectators.
The event began with an exciting b-boy performance by Massacrew, a street dance-based team, followed by a gala show by the mixed-gender Dream Musical Team, and a carol medley performance by the seven-member swing jazz band Doubleis Korea. The finale was a mini-concert by Son Tae-jin, a member of the Phantom Singer winning team and the winner of Burning Trotman.
Since April this year, the district has held seasonal and themed festivals: in spring, the 'Spring Night Classic Festival' at Bangbae Dwitbeol Park; in June, the 'Seocho Music and Art Festival' at Seoul Express Bus Terminal as a summer festival; and in September, the 'Seoripul Festival' held on Banpo-daero for the first time in four years, attracting a total of 130,000 participants and receiving enthusiastic responses.
