Luxury platform Ballan announced on the 22nd that it will officially open a new category, the Contemporary Specialty Hall, to fully launch its new business 'K-Luxury.'
K-Luxury is Ballan's first new business since its founding and its first venture into overseas expansion. K-Luxury aims to discover and support promising excellent domestic contemporary brands, turning them into K-luxury brands to help them enter overseas markets. This attempt to open overseas sales channels through domestic brand exports is the first among luxury platforms. In this process, Ballan plans to leverage its know-how as the number one platform to support market development and marketing, advancing overseas together.
At the time of opening, the number of brands participating is about 500. Carefully selected brands such as 'REFINED902,' 'KLEAN,' 'LEHEE CASHMERE,' 'NOTIA,' and 'CPGN STUDIO' have joined. The company plans to continue increasing the number of participating brands and raise the share of contemporary brands to 20% of total transaction volume by the second half of next year.
Ballan has also revamped its interface for customers' convenient contemporary shopping. A side banner allowing direct access to the contemporary specialty hall has been placed near the main menu at the top of Ballan Mall, and a special promotional event commemorating the official opening is underway, allowing customers to experience new brands at discounted prices.
