The provincial party stated, "We have formed and are operating an election planning team for the victory in the 22nd general election, and we are conducting interviews with 10,000 Gyeongnam residents to hear their thoughts," adding, "We are going through every alley of the 18 cities and counties to listen to the voices of the residents."
"According to the survey results so far, what residents think is most needed in Gyeongnam now are measures to address regional imbalance and regional extinction, response to the crisis of Japan's contaminated water discharge, establishment of public medical schools, and early opening of the inter-Korean inland railway, in that order," they said. "We will listen more carefully to the voices of the residents and utilize them in common policies for next year's general election and in region-specific pledges."
