Kia and Korea Employers Federation Sign Precision Safety Inspection Business Agreement
Kia and the Korea Employers Federation signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the 19th for a "Precision Safety Diagnosis to Prevent Serious Accidents." According to the agreement, Kia will inspect the entire safety management system it has established and establish a self-discipline prevention system involving employees.
An advisory group consisting of external experts, including researchers, will conduct a precision safety diagnosis focusing on key tasks in self-discipline prevention systems, enhanced serious accident management, and safety culture at Kia's automobile production plant (Autoland) and service sectors. Both parties expect that this diagnosis will identify previously unnoticed issues by employees and enable the development of customized solutions for each workplace, allowing for the formulation of mid- to long-term safety environment strategies.
