Shilla Duty Free won the airport representative specialty product contest for resident businesses at Gimpo, Jeju, and Gimhae airports, hosted by Korea Airports Corporation, by proposing a fusion Yakgwa product.
In collaboration with ‘Misong Hangwa,’ the product combines the popular Yakgwa with pound cake. Gimpo Airport K-Yakgwa features a hexagonal butter cake topped with mini Yakgwa, available in two flavors?brownie and butter?individually packaged in a gold case, making it suitable as a gift. Yakgwa will be released on the 20th of this month and can be found at Shilla Duty Free in Gimpo Airport.
