Discovery of a Total of 41 New Projects Worth 314.8 Billion KRW

Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) announced on the 18th that it held the ‘2025 National Road Fund Support Proposal New Project Discovery Report Meeting’ chaired by Governor Kim San at the county office situation room.

This report meeting was prepared to ensure the smooth promotion of local pending projects amid the difficult situation caused by the government’s fiscal tightening, and the projects discovered on this day amount to 41 cases worth 314.8 billion KRW.

The newly discovered projects include △200 billion KRW for the Regional Specialized Rental Smart Farm Construction Project △6 billion KRW for the Local Commercial District Revitalization Project △50 billion KRW for the Muan-gun Walkable City Construction Project △48.6 billion KRW for the Yeongsangang Neureoji District Integrated River Project △28 billion KRW for the Changpo District National Management Embankment Repair Project △17.4 billion KRW for the Additional Installation of Yeongsangang Bicycle-Only Road Project, among others.

Based on the discovered projects, the county plans to visit and consult with Jeollanam-do and central government ministries, prepare response strategies for key core projects, and steadily implement step-by-step response plans including requesting cooperation from the offices of National Assembly members.

Governor Kim San stated, “Building a cooperative network is important for the discovered projects to be reflected,” and added, “We will do our best to discover high-quality projects that benefit residents and promote regional future development in line with the government’s national plan and budget formulation policy.”

Meanwhile, early next year, the county plans to conduct education on securing national road funds and project-specific consulting to strengthen employee capabilities, and actively carry out systematic, step-by-step tailored activities by visiting Jeollanam-do, central government ministries, and the National Assembly.
