Honam University Department of Aviation Service, Aircraft Emergency Evacuation Experience Using VR Devices
The Department of Aviation Service at Honam University visited Flying Crew, an aviation crew academy located on Jungang-ro in Dong-gu, Gwangju, on the 16th, and conducted an aircraft emergency evacuation experience using the newly introduced VR technology in the department.
Thirty academy students participated in the experience event held under the supervision of the Gwangju Regional Innovation Platform Project Group. They wore VR devices that recognize actual hand movements and gaze using the Meta virtual reality program to carry out the experience.
Through this event, the Department of Aviation Service at Honam University indirectly promoted its strengths to prospective students and provided a new opportunity to help students explore career paths for choosing their major.
