Musinsa recently declared a full-scale expansion of its offline presence and is now maximizing efficiency through selection and concentration among its services.
On the 18th, Musinsa announced that it will end the operation of ‘Lazy Night,’ a service that has been targeting female customers in their 30s and 40s, on February 2nd next year and unify the service under 29CM. This decision was made to focus service capabilities on 29CM, which is rapidly growing in the female fashion and lifestyle sectors.
29CM’s largest customer base is aged 25 to 39, with the influx of trend-sensitive customers in their 30s and 40s increasing by more than 40% monthly on average. Recently expanding its business into the premium living sector, the growth of purchasing-powerful female customers is expected to accelerate further.
Musinsa has decided to select and concentrate its efforts by considering the impact and operational efficiency of each service in response to 29CM’s rapid growth and the rapidly changing market environment. Overlapping functions of 29CM and Lazy Night will be merged into one, and specialized capabilities will be combined to focus on providing advanced services for female customers.
The differentiated curation capabilities that Lazy Night has showcased will be absorbed by 29CM and continuously presented. Lazy Night has actively pursued collaborations mainly with premium brands that have strong fandoms, serving as a service for female customers with good taste.
