Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Gori Nuclear Headquarters Donates 12 Million KRW in Scholarships to Underprivileged Students in Gijang-eup
On the 13th, Gijang-eup, Gijang-gun, Busan (Eupjang Hwang Chang-hoon) held a scholarship award ceremony to support underprivileged students in the eup area together with the Gijang-eup Community Security Council (Private Chairman Kwon Myo-yeon) and Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters (Head Lee Kwang-hoon).

View original imageThis scholarship was funded by the 'Love Fund,' a donation fund from the employees of the Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters. The scholarship recipients are 15 students from underprivileged households in Gijang-eup, each receiving 800,000 KRW, totaling 12 million KRW, which is provided through the Busan Community Chest of Korea.
At the ceremony, Jeong Jae-rak, Director of External Cooperation at Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters, said, "There are many outstanding talents in the region who continue their studies despite difficult family circumstances. We will continue to support them so that they do not give up on their education."
