NH Investment & Securities Announces Scheduled Change of Dividend Record Date
NH Investment & Securities announced on the 14th that it will change the settlement dividend date starting from this fiscal year. At the regular shareholders' meeting held on March 23, NH Investment & Securities improved the dividend procedure to "dividend amount first, dividend record date confirmation later" so that investors can invest with a clear understanding of the dividend amount.
The dividend record date for the 2023 fiscal year will be separately announced around early March 2024, instead of the end of December 2023, and dividends will be paid to shareholders who hold shares on that record date.
This decision follows the dividend procedure improvement plan announced by financial authorities in January, aimed at aligning the domestic corporate dividend system with global standards.

An NH Investment & Securities official stated, "Shareholders who wish to receive dividends from NH Investment & Securities must check the dividend record date to be announced around March 2024, not the end of December 2023," and cautioned, "Even if shares are held on December 31, 2023, if the shares are not held on the dividend record date for the 2023 fiscal year, which will be announced later, the settlement dividend will not be paid."
