Number of Visitors Increased from July 7 to 13 Compared to the Previous Week
As the year-end and New Year approach, Everland's 'Giant Bao' has emerged as a popular spot for 인증샷 among those looking to capture unique photos, leading to a recent increase in visitors.
Everland, operated by Samsung C&T Resort Division, announced on the 14th that approximately 100,000 visitors came to see the newly introduced 12-meter-tall giant panda sculpture 'Giant Bao' over the course of a week this winter.

Everland explained that after unveiling Giant Bao on the 7th, about 100,000 people visited Everland by the 13th, resulting in a roughly 50% increase in attendance compared to the previous week. This represents about a 30% increase compared to the same period last year.
Giant Bao is the main photo zone of Everland's winter festival 'Bao Family in Wintertopia,' which features the panda family as the protagonists. Located in the central plaza near the main entrance, it is easily accessible to all Everland visitors.
Its cute and warm appearance, along with the experience of a soft touch, has attracted visitors' attention. Photos and eyewitness accounts taken by visitors are also being shared online and on social media.
An Everland representative said, "This year, the Fu Bao syndrome has brought much love to the panda family," adding, "As the year-end and New Year approach, customers continue to visit to leave happy 인증샷 commemorating the year with the pandas."
