Yoon Evaluates Inter-Parliamentary Exchanges and Bilateral Development Status
President Yoon Suk-yeol met with the chairpersons of the Dutch Parliament's upper and lower houses on the 13th (local time) and stated, "I ask for special attention and support from the Dutch Parliament to open a new chapter in the bilateral relationship between Korea and the Netherlands."
On the morning of the same day, President Yoon moved from Amsterdam to The Hague, the seat of government, and met with Jan Antoni Brauwin, President of the Senate, and Raymond de Roon, Vice President of the House of Representatives, at the Senate building. In the case of the House of Representatives, the Vice President attended on behalf of the Speaker due to the election of a new Speaker following the Dutch general election on the 22nd of last month.
President Yoon Suk-yeol, on a state visit to the Netherlands, is having a joint meeting with Jan Anthonie Bruijn, President of the Dutch Senate, and Raymond de Roon, Vice President of the House of Representatives, at the Dutch Senate in The Hague on the 13th (local time).

At this meeting, President Yoon evaluated the exchanges between the two parliaments and the current status of the development of the strategic partnership between the two countries, requesting support at the level of the Dutch Parliament.

Berg, Deputy Secretary of the House of Representatives; Joris Taison, Acting Chairperson of the House International Trade and Development Cooperation Committee; and Pieter van der Plijt, Ambassador of the Netherlands to Korea. On the Korean side, Minister of Foreign Affairs Park Jin, Minister of Science and ICT Lee Jong-ho, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Yoo In-chon, Director of the National Security Office Cho Tae-yong, Ambassador to the Netherlands Choi Hyung-chan, Director General of Trade Negotiations Ahn Deok-geun, and First Deputy Director of the National Security Office Kim Tae-hyo attended.
