A teenage high school student who posted threatening messages saying "I will kill all the children when they go to and from school" in a parent group chat of an elementary school in Incheon is now facing detention.
According to the legal community on the 13th, high school student A entered the Incheon District Court in the afternoon to attend a pre-arrest detention hearing (warrant review). A is suspected of threats and obstruction of official duties by deception.

A was dressed in a school uniform, with both hands handcuffed and covered with a shield, tied with a restraint rope, and wore a hat and mask to minimize facial exposure.
When reporters asked, "Why did you post the murder threat message?" A replied, "I sincerely regret it." When asked, "Do you have anything to say to the victim parents and students?" he said, "I am truly sorry."
The warrant review hearing was held from 2 p.m., presided over by Judge Lee Gyu-hoon, the warrant specialist at Incheon District Court, and the decision on A's detention is expected to be made late in the afternoon.
On the 11th, the police increased patrols at the Incheon elementary school when A posted a threatening message.

Meanwhile, A is suspected of posting threatening messages in a parent KakaoTalk group chat of an elementary school in Incheon at around 9:35 a.m. on the 11th. At that time, he also posted a photo of his hand holding a car steering wheel along with the message.
The chat room was an open chat room that could be freely accessed without a password, and it was understood to be a room where parents and school commute helpers gathered.
One parent reported to the police that "a threatening message was posted in the chat room" that morning, and the police urgently arrested A at around 8:15 p.m. the same day in Chungnam. Although A's home address is in Incheon, it was found that he attends a school in Chungnam.
