According to the legal community on the 13th, the Inspection Department of the Supreme Prosecutors' Office has begun an investigation into Chief Prosecutor A of the Criminal Division 4 at the Ansan Branch of the Suwon District Prosecutors' Office for making derogatory remarks to a junior female prosecutor during a company dinner.
It is known that Chief Prosecutor A recently made comments related to the evaluation of the junior prosecutor at a departmental dinner. Upon learning of the incident, the Supreme Prosecutors' Office immediately separated Chief Prosecutor A from the victim and reassigned him as acting prosecutor at the Busan High Prosecutors' Office. The junior prosecutor was transferred to another department within the branch.
