Gyeongnam Women's Volunteer Group Shares Love with Kimchi Making Event... Multicultural Families Also Participate
Members of the Gyeongnam Women's Volunteer Group recently held a Love Kimchi Sharing event, which gained great significance as multicultural families also participated.
Over 80 members, along with 16 multicultural families, attended a hands-on experience event on the morning of the 9th at the public parking lot of the fish market in Masanhappo-gu, Changwon Special City, where they made traditional Korean kimchi themselves.
On that day, the members directly delivered about 10 million won worth of kimchi, packed in 10kg portions, to underprivileged neighbors.
A representative of the multicultural families who participated in the event said, "It was very rewarding to make kimchi myself. I definitely want to participate in this kind of event again next year and gift the kimchi I made to my neighbors."
