Hanwha Corporation Construction Division Selected as Top Company in Win-Win Growth Index
Hanwha Corporation Construction Division was selected as the Best Company in the Win-Win Growth Index at the ‘2023 Korea Win-Win Growth Awards’ ceremony held by the Win-Win Growth Committee on the 12th.
The Korea Win-Win Growth Awards are held annually by the Win-Win Growth Committee to recognize companies and organizations that have contributed to win-win growth, aiming to promote awareness and spread the culture of win-win growth. This year, awards were presented in categories such as win-win cooperation program implementation, ESG support projects, voluntary agreements to resolve polarization, and the Best Company in the Win-Win Growth Index.
Hanwha Corporation Construction Division was selected as the Best Company this year, achieving the same Win-Win Growth Index as Samsung Electronics, SK Telecom, and Hyundai Motor Company.
Hanwha Corporation Construction Division set three major directions for promoting win-win growth policies: ▲establishing a culture of fair trade ▲enhancing the capabilities of partner companies ▲strengthening communication with partner companies, and this year, it signed fair trade agreements with 210 partner companies and is adhering to them. In addition, it is striving to guarantee the profits of partner companies through the operation of a subcontract contract low-price review system, and is leading the establishment of a win-win growth culture by operating various partner support programs such as financial support including win-win funds, joint technology and design development, management doctor system support, and education support for partner company employees.
Furthermore, through intensive ethics education for employees and the establishment of a strict internal control system, it is achieving compliance management and ethical management at a global standard level. As a result of these efforts, Hanwha Corporation Construction Division has maintained a cumulative penalty score of zero related to the Subcontracting Act to date, and in the Win-Win Growth Index evaluation announced by the Win-Win Growth Committee, it was selected as an ‘Excellent’ company for six consecutive years until last year and achieved the ‘Best’ grade this year.
