VoiceEye-Korea Minting, Security Printing & ID Card Operating Corporation Hold Final Report Meeting on Joint Research of 'Digital Stamps'
VoiceEye and the Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation announced on the 13th that their joint research on 'Digital Stamps with Applied Digital Security Codes' for brand protection has concluded after an eight-month journey with a final joint research report meeting.
In April, the two companies signed a joint agreement to strengthen genuine product authentication and brand protection industries, conducting research on the development of digital stamps with applied digital security codes through the convergence of physical security technology and high-density barcode technology.
Digital stamps are a technology that allows genuine product authentication by attaching stamps with digital coding applied during the manufacturing and distribution process, enabling tracking and control of all distribution networks.
Through this research, the two companies plan to expand beyond physical security into the digital sector, developing printing technology that enables information storage and original verification that is tamper-proof, as well as easily verifiable app development.
Meanwhile, VoiceEye expects that the digital stamp for genuine product authentication can be applied to various industries such as pharmaceuticals, food, and electronics, taking advantage of the Pharmaceutical Affairs Act to be enforced next year.
