Netflix to Release Director Han Jae-rim's 'The Eight Show' Next Year

View original imageOnline video service (OTT) Netflix announced on the 13th that it will release director Han Jae-rim's series "The Eight Show," adapted from the webtoons "Money Game" and "Pie Game," next year.
"The Eight Show" depicts the story of eight people trapped in a secret space divided into eight floors, participating in a sweet but dangerous show where time accumulates and money is earned. The eight participants are played by actors Ryu Jun-yeol, Chun Woo-hee, Park Jung-min, Lee Yeol-eum, Park Hae-joon, Lee Joo-young, Moon Jung-hee, and Bae Sung-woo.
It is adapted from Baek Jin-soo's Naver webtoons "Money Game" and "Pie Game," which portray the primal desires of characters clashing in a capitalist society with themes of politics and economy, and have recorded a global cumulative view count of 300 million.
