U.S. authorities believe that North Korea supplied military equipment to Russia around the time of the North Korea-Russia summit in September. It is estimated that after Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu visited North Korea in July, North Korea began transferring large quantities of military supplies to Russia starting in August. The supply of military equipment from North Korea to Russia continued even after the September summit, and authorities suspect that Russia transferred satellite launch technology to North Korea.
