Kmong, a freelance market platform operated by CEO Park Hyun-ho and Kim Tae-heon, announced on the 11th that it will hold the '2023 Kmong Awards,' an event that encourages and awards freelance experts active in various fields in Korea, online.
Started in 2013, the Kmong Awards is a freelance awards ceremony that invites domestic freelancers active both online and offline to select outstanding experts in each field. The 2023 Kmong Awards selects experts who skillfully utilize trends and technologies in line with the theme of 'Change,' symbolizing changes in working methods, transitions from workplace to profession, and shifts in trends.
This year, a total of 45 teams will be awarded across 16 categories. In particular, this year, in addition to the existing Grand Prize (16 teams) and Rookie Award (16 teams), special awards (13 teams) such as the N-Jobs Award, Scale-Up Award, 100% Award, Change Award, Digital Nomad Award, Solomon Award, Best Teacher Award, New Customer Award, and AI Pioneer Award have been added to broaden the scope of recipients.
Kmong selected awardees by comprehensively evaluating cumulative sales amounts and customer satisfaction by category, and awarded plaques to the winners along with the 'Kmong Awards' certification mark displayed within the service for one year.
