Police Officer Causes Disturbance Over 1.25 Million Won Bar Tab, "Can't Pay"... Arrested in the Act
A police officer affiliated with the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul was arrested on the spot for causing a disturbance at a bar in the early morning after refusing to pay the bill.
The Gangnam Police Station in Seoul announced on the 8th that Detective A from the investigation division of the same police station has been arrested and is under investigation for property damage and dine-and-dash charges.
Detective A is accused of causing a disturbance and breaking bottles and glasses at a bar in Gangnam, Seoul, around 1 a.m. that day, claiming that the bill of 1.25 million won was too expensive and refusing to pay.
The police have placed Detective A on standby duty at the police station's administration division on the same day.
