Golf Membership Prices 'Spring Season Preparation Leads to Increased Trading Volume'
Buyer Influx, Intense Tug-of-War Between Sellers and Buyers

The golf membership market is experiencing a buying trend. As mid-December approaches, preparations for the spring season are underway.
According to Dong-A Membership Trading Center on the 9th, the average price of 100 major memberships traded nationwide is 250.59 million KRW, up 0.04% compared to last week. By price range, the ultra-high price segment rose 0.22%, and the low price segment increased by 0.23%. Conversely, the high price segment fell 0.15%, and the mid-price segment dropped 0.25%. Dong-A Membership Trading Center stated, "Compared to last month, trading volume has increased. The average price of golf memberships nationwide also showed an upward trend," but added, "The cautious standoff between sellers and buyers continues. Once the gap in asking prices narrows, trading volume is expected to recover."
The average price in the central region is 284.77 million KRW, up 0.05% from last week. Ultra-high price memberships are gradually rising again. Gapyeong Benest increased by 1.35%, Nambu by 0.84%, and Lakeside by 1.74%. In Seoul, buyers who had been observing matched the sellers' asking prices, causing a 0.95% rise, and Gold increased by 1.12% amid recent higher trading volume. However, Vallios fell 1.45%, Blue One Yongin 0.98%, Blue Heron 1.13%, and Jayu declined 1.61%. Deputy General Manager Moon Jong-sung said, "This is the time to prepare for the spring season. Buying demand will increase. Overall, the market will shift back to an upward trend."

The average price in the southern region is 162.10 million KRW, unchanged from last week. Dongnae Benest fell 0.58%, Busan 1.37%, Yangsan 0.51%, and Opal dropped 1.41%. Daegu saw a 0.70% increase as all listings were sold out, pushing asking prices up. Pamihills also rose 2.70%. Team Leader Lee Yoon-hee forecasted, "In the southern membership market, inquiries about the timing of transactions are increasing. Differentiation by item will continue."
