40-Year-Old Man Arrested for Luring and Molesting Runaway Elementary Student in Studio Apartment
A man who lured runaway female elementary school students to his home and sexually assaulted them was arrested.
On the 7th, the Gwanak Police Station in Seoul announced that they had urgently arrested a man in his 40s, identified as Mr. A, on the evening of the previous day on suspicion of luring two 12-year-old runaway female elementary school students to his home in Sillim-dong, Gwanak-gu, and sexually assaulting them.
After seeing a post titled "Someone to let me stay" uploaded by the victims on SNS, Mr. A sent a taxi to the location where the victims were and lured them to his one-room apartment. When they arrived, he paid the taxi fare.
The taxi driver, sensing something suspicious, reported the situation, and the police who arrived caught Mr. A in his home within about 40 minutes.
