Hampyeong-gun Conducts Resident Preference Survey for Tourism Slogan
Investigation at Multiple Gathering Places for 3 Days from the 6th to the 8th
Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 7th that it will conduct a public preference survey until the 8th to select the final winning entry for the 'Hampyeong Tourism Brand Slogan Contest.'
The county held the Hampyeong Tourism Brand Slogan Contest from October 30 to November 12, receiving a total of 1,744 submissions. After the first and second rounds of screening, nine entries were selected for the public preference survey.
Panels have been installed at nine town and township offices, supermarkets, and other crowded places to gather residents' opinions.
For public officials, a preference survey is being conducted using the Saeol Administrative System, an internal administrative network survey tool.
Following the preference survey, one grand prize winner, one excellence award winner, and four merit award winners will be selected. They will receive the Hampyeong County Governor's Award along with prize money of 1,000,000 KRW, 500,000 KRW, and 100,000 KRW respectively. The final results are scheduled to be announced later this month.

Lee Sang-ik, the county governor, said, “The final winning slogan will be revised and supplemented for use in the Hampyeong tourism brand currently under development. We ask for active participation in the preference survey to develop a Hampyeong tourism slogan created together with the residents.”
